Student Day to commemorate an Iconic Leader's Legacy.

The government of Assam has set the stage to honor a great social reformer, Upendra Nath Brahma, by declaring March 31 as 'Students' Day. Upendra Nath Brahma, also known as the "father of the Bodo people" was a prominent social reformer, activist, and leader of the Bodo community in Assam.
On this occasion, the government of Assam is launching several noteworthy initiatives aimed at empowering students. The government's efforts to uplift the education sector and encourage students' growth are commendable.
