For the first time in the North East, the Programme of Performing Arts under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science of Assam down town University is conducting a workshop on Kuchipudi Dance in association with Rasavikalpam Institute of Performing Arts and Yoga. This dance form is one of the major Indian classical dances which has its origins in Andhra Pradesh.

The dance training shall be for a period of 5 days between 28th of March to 1st of April 2022 and shall be conducted by renowned dance proponent, Sowmyaa Nair Ma Kuchipudi from PST University, Hyderabad.
